Getting started, is it difficult?

Getting started on social media can be a daunting task, especially if you’re a total beginner.
The key to success is in the planning and preparation stage. At this point, is clever to avoid AI generated pictures and posts. Why? Because your audience wants to hear you! Your ideas, about your products and not something fake like the picture above.
There are several things to consider before launching your social media account – deciding which platform to use, selecting an appropriate username, choosing a niche, crafting the perfect introduction post, and creating something that stands out from the rest of the crowd.
When it comes to choosing a platform, as start, pick one that you think would work best for your business or personal needs. At this point, as I said, start with ONE social media platform.
Once you have decided on one platform, it’s time to select an eye-catching username that people will easily remember and link to your brand or product.
First of all, as the step 0., type the username into the browser to see if it’s exists already. Because, if your products is geography sensitive, for example: you want to sell products only in London, then it’s not a huge problem if an Instagram account with the name for example poorified candles already exists in Australia. You can use poorified candles London or just differentiate yourself from them with a hyphen (_) . But if you sell worldwide, then you have to choose your name more carefully, because your potential customers will find your competition with the same name, right?
But, you can change your accounts name any time, so do not worry about this too much.
The name should also represent what your company does or what kind of content you intend to post regularly.
Choosing a niche is also important when getting started on social media as it will help narrow down who your target audience is and provide guidance when it comes to content creation. A few hundreds of exited followers who eager to get a new post from you, is more valuable then a few thousand of followers outside of your niche.
Having a clear understanding of who your target audience is will help shape your strategy and give you more direction when crafting posts.
After settling on the above details, it’s time to make your introductory post! This is probably one of the most crucial parts of launching your account since it will be how potential followers learn about you.
Be sure to keep this post short yet interesting as too much text may cause viewers to lose interest quickly and scroll past it without engaging.
Consider making something unique such as hosting a contest or creating a special hashtag; anything that will help make an impact with viewers. Once all of these components have been finalized, launch away!
After that, post consistently and regularly. To post every day, every other day is crucual if you start from absolute zero.
Starting out on social media can be overwhelming at first but with some thoughtful planning ahead of time and creative strategies implemented during content creation stages, success won’t be far off.
